Covid-19 vaccination implementation for people experiencing homelessness began yesterday as reported on Twitter by @JKJAVMY.

Taking place at the Homeless Transformation Centre, Anjung Kelana, Taman Desa, the government agency responsible for the administration of vaccine in the country reports that 119 homeless individuals took part in Phase 1 of the program.

The Jawatankuasa Khas Jaminan Akses Bekalan Vaksin Covid-19’s (JKJAV) efforts however does not stop there.

Other than administering vaccines for the masses and the homeless, efforts to vaccinate senior citizens in the country have also begun.

Taking place at a retiremen home in Penang, the team paid a visit to the Jasper Lodge Care Centre in their effort to administer Covid-19 doses to tenants currently living there.

Hoping to achieve the goal of inoculating a large majority of the population by February next year, efforts to roll out the National Immunisation Programme is certainly alive and kicking.
