Amidst the China-US trade war currently taking place, American politicians and political activists have their eyes set on Chinese President Xi Jinping’s every move, including his visits to Vietnam, Malaysia and Cambodia.
And among those who have an opinion on his trip to Southeast Asia is American conservative commentator Bill O’Reilly, who thinks President Xi Jinping is wasting his time here due to his belief that Southeast Asia is poor.
Taking to his YouTube page, Bill decided to “break the news” in a message to the Chinese President.

“Alright, let’s update you on the tariffs. Chinese President Xi Jinping is going to Vietnam, Malaysia and Cambodia. Hey, President Xi, let me just break it to you,”
“Those folks have no money at all, okay? They cannot help you, they’re not going to buy your stuff. Because they don’t have any money, alright?”
Why visit countries with “no money”?
He went on to question why the Chinese President even decided to visit Southeast Asia, considering his belief that Southeast Asians are poor, and insinuated that the Chinese President is doing something sneaky.
Bill then ended his video by doubling down on his perception that Southeast Asians are poor, even calling out the Malay community.
“Maybe he’s trying to sneak in Chinese goods under the Vietnamese label, but that’s going to be easily exposed. So, I don’t even know what this is, you know? If China loses the US market, and I still believe there’s going to be a detente here, it’s hosed. It’s just screwed,”
“Because we have the money, we buy the stuff. The Malays aren’t going to buy your stuff. They don’t have any money,” he laughed.
