The Immigration Department recently announced that it has successfully put a stop to a syndicate offering gay sex and massage services in Cheras.
In a special operation on Tuesday night (23 May), the department arrested six foreign men, aged 26 to 36 who were working as masseurs and caretakers of the business premises.
The foreigners include five Indonesian and a Myanmar national, with all of them having committed other various offences and has since been brought to the Putrajaya Immigration Detention Depot.
These include not possessing travel documents, having expired social visit passes, and abusing their passes.
As reported by BERNAMA, Immigration director-general Datuk Ruslin Jusoh said that during the operation, seven local customers, aged 31 to 59, were at the premises. All of them were issued notices to provide their statement to facilitate investigations.
Ruslin Jusoh added, “They (the syndicated) are believed to have been operating since last year, advertising special massage packages for men on social media apps like WhatsApp and Telegram.”
“Those interested would need to contact the telephone number stated before being given the location of the premises.”
Moreover, the syndicate charged between RM200 and RM300 an hour based on the package chosen by customers. It is believed that they have been raking in around RM650,000 from the activities.
