Last week, Tunku Mahkota Johor (TMJ) expressed his desire in providing his lawyers’ services to help the 13-year-old abused down syndrome victim, Bella against the alleged abuser, Siti Bainun.
Just a few days back, TMJ had a meeting with Rina Harun, the Minister of Women, Family and Community Development to discuss improvements in terms of preventing another home care abuse in the future. Last night (25 April), the Crown Prince of Johor sent a message to some politicians about Bella’s abuse case via his Instagram story.
“In reference to Bella’s case. Where are all of the politicians who are so called pro-human rights? You have been quiet. Do you have any connections with Rumah Bonda home care?”
TMJ then questioned if these home cares are being used by some parties for money laundering and human trafficking as these politicians and home cares have yet to say anything.
Recently, TMJ also revealed via his Twitter page that his team will continue to work & focus on children’s safety health, development & access to education.
“We must continue to work together with MWFCD, DSW, UNICEF & other govt agencies to improve institutions, infrastructure, laws & policies to protect & prioritise children.”
It’s a pleasure & we will continue to focus on children’s safety, health, development & access to education.

The abuse victim, Bella was reportedly force-fed with 80 chillies a week but as of now, no evidence has been presented to back the claim. Last week, Zahid Hamidi’s daughter denied allegations that her family has been helping Siti Bainun by providing the services of 10 lawyers.
Regardless, we hope that the truth will be revealed soon so that the abused victim can get her justice.
