After the success of the first campaign in 2022, the Simpan Berganda Menang Bergaya (SBMB) 2.0 CASA-i Campaign was started on 1 September 2022 with amazing prizes worth up to RM2.4 million! The campaign consists of seven draw categories where you can win prizes including luxury cars, motorcycles, smartphones and cash. Recently, on 11 March 2023, a prize-giving ceremony for the first quarter of the SBMB 2.0 contest was held at Pasar Raya MYDIN in Tunjong, Kota Bharu. The ceremony was meant to present the prizes for the winners of the Grand Draw and the Regional High Savers Draw for the East Coast region.

The four winners of the Regional High Savers Draw, Low Beng Cheong, Low Wan Choon, Kamarudin Yahya and Zulkeflee Ismail, all walked away with a gold wafer. On the other hand, the Grand draw winner, Mohamad Jefri Mohamad, took home the grand prize of a Mercedes Benz A 200!

Yes, he really won a Mercedes car just by saving up! Isn’t that amazing??

If you’d like to be the next winner, here’s your chance! The contest is still ongoing until 31 May 2023 so you might want to hurry and start saving up to join the campaign! Just make sure to follow these steps:

  1. If you’re not one already, make sure to become an MBSB Bank account holder by opening up a Savings or Current account online.
  2. Deposit at least RM100 (for the savings account) or RM1,000 (for the current account) to be eligible for the contest.

Both new and existing customers of MBSB Bank are eligible to join this campaign but you’d also have to meet these criteria:

  • You need to be 18 years old and above.
  • Open to Malaysian citizens, permanent residents and non-residents.
  • Joint Account holders who are below 18 years old would be subject to the account being operated by a trustee (parent or legal guardians).
  • Open to Malaysian citizens and permanent residents under Trustee Account as well.
