We’ve seen Hello Kitty themed cars, cakes, cafes, basically Hello Kitty everything. A huge Hello Kitty fan took her fandom to a whole other level by turning an old kampung house into a pink paradise.
The aged village house is in Kampung Kota Lama Kiri, Perak and it is owned by ultimate Hello Kitty fan, Hamidah Abdul, mStar reported.
She is an enthusiast of anything and everything pink, and of course, that includes Hello Kitty.
When she inherited the 100-year-old house, she made the decision to change the whole interior of the house.
Hamidah said that when she started living in the house three years ago, it was falling apart and the renovation process was done in stages. She was determined to restore the beauty of the house after seeing other houses in the village were being neglected because there were no occupants.
Hamidah works as a deejay at a shopping mall in Kuala Lumpur, and she has spent about RM10,000 on the accessories used to decorate the house.
Even though her family does not live there permanently, they visit the house at least once a month.
She loves pink and Hello Kitty so much that during Hari Raya, she served pink raya biscuits and pink drinks to their guests.
Her family even wore pink traditional outfits for the Hari Raya celebration.
Hamidah added that she was not done decorating the house yet and she was not in any rush to do so because her family are very supportive of her love of pink.
We can’t wait to see how her house turns out when it’s fully done!
