A Malaysian has made all of us proud once again!
This time, a young lady from Tunku Abdul Rahman University College became the first Malaysian to be crowned as World No. 1 in the ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) accounting examination.
Caroline Ng Yi-Wye is the top scorer for the “Strategic Business Leader” subject, and this is a huge achievement at the international level.
TAR UC announced her glory last Friday (17 January) on their official Facebook page, and many Malaysians congratulated and celebrated with her.
In TAR UC’s Facebook post, the caption reads:
The Principal Lecturer of Faculty of Accountancy, Finance and Business at TAR UC, Yeoh Cheng Hock had also congratulated Caroline and shared more photos in his Facebook post.
According to Malay Mail, this wasn’t Caroline’s only achievement in this field. TAR UC had announced that a group of six students from the said university participated in the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (‘ICAEW’) Malaysia Business Challenge back in April 2019. Caroline was one of the students in the team and they were awarded the Most Innovative Team.
Woah, these young and talented Malaysian students are really out there making our country heard!
We’re so proud and happy for Caroline Ng and her wonderful accomplishments! We’re sure that she can inspire more young Malaysians to represent the country for many more meaningful events.
