Malaysian have a tendency of coining new terms from our local languages, which then spreads like wildfire. Among the latest terms that has gone viral and is used widely is ‘oyen‘, which comes from the word ‘oren’ or ‘orange’, referring to orange cats.

Now, this word has not only taken Malaysia by storm but is now making its way to the United States (US)!

Instagram page, @president_republic_oyen, took to their profile to showcase netizen, @then8tivedogfather, calling his orange cat ‘oyen‘.
