The Tawau Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) is offering a RM12,800 reward following overwhelming public support for information leading to the identification and arrest of the person responsible for skinning a dog alive recently.
The dog, cherished by the local community, was discovered severely injured, having been brutally skinned while still alive. Despite being rushed to Klinik Noki for emergency treatment, the animal tragically succumbed to its injuries.
“There hasn’t been a single clue of the incident of a dog skinned alive on 19/3/25 until today. Spca Tawau begs everyone to help us by sharing this post, hoping to bring the offender to justice and voice for the voiceless.”
The incident has shocked both animal lovers and residents, with SPCA warning that such cruelty towards animals poses a broader threat to community safety.

The SPCA urges anyone with information to contact their volunteers at 012-801 2103, 016-830 6742, 016-826 6465, or 011-1543 2993.
They were previously offering a RM10,500 reward.
“We hope this poor fur kid that raised by the kindness of the neighborhood of Taman Da Hua 3, can get the justice it deserves.”
