The world is full of aspiring political leaders but sadly, very few live up to the leadership ideals. With the politics receiving a bad rep in recent times, a video of this one politician taking his own initiative to help those in his constituency is certainly a breath of fresh air.

Taking to Twitter, Muar MP Syed Saddiq shared a video of an initiative undertaken by the Pusat Khidmat Rakyat Parlimen Muar to distribute laptops to students from B40 families and ease their burden when classes open soon.

Writing

“Delivery boy on duty. The wellbeing of the people in Muar is my responsibility.”

In the video, Syed Saddiq is seen whizzing through the streets of Muar to deliver his “1 Family, 1 Laptop” initiative, benefitting university students from families earning RM1500 and below.

Keep up the good work YB! Let’s hope that other politicians will come up with their own way of serving the rakyat.
