Brewed with love: The art of Tim Hortons coffee

Ever wondered what makes Tim Hortons’ coffee unique? Well, it’s all in their brewing method. The secret behind Tim Hortons’ coffee lies in their 100% premium Arabica beans, which are carefully sourced and brewed to perfection.

Tims Signature doesn’t just serve coffee—they craft it for you. Let’s take a brief look at their three most popular brewing methods.

  • Kyoto Drip (from RM15): Using an intricate glass tower, the Kyoto Drip is a slow, cold brewing method that involves dripping cold water over coffee grounds, passing through a filter and into a vessel. Paired with Tim Hortons’ Single Origin Columbia beans, it produces a rich and aromatic concentrate. This exquisite cold brew takes several hours to complete and is best enjoyed over ice, making it the perfect choice for those who crave a rich, refreshing coffee experience.

  • V60 Pour Over (from RM15): A brewing method known for its meticulousness with its signature cone-shaped dripper and spiral ridges, this technique allows water to flow evenly through the coffee grounds, resulting in a bold, full-bodied cup that accentuates the distinct notes of the Arabica beans. If you’re a coffee drinker who appreciates the depth and intensity of your coffee, then the V60 pour-over is just the masterpiece that will export your taste buds to the heavens.

  • Chemex Pour Over (from RM15): Renowned for its elegant hourglass design, the Chemex method utilises a specially crafted, thick paper filter that removes oils and sediments to brew a clean, crisp, and delicate cup of coffee. If you prefer a subtle and smooth coffee experience, then the Chemex should be your go-to choice.
