The dashcam footage shows a Proton X70 SUV in front of the vehicle suddenly going backwards and ending up hitting the front end of the vehicle.

Given how there were no reverse lights popping up on the SUV’s tail light when the accident happened, it seems that the driver may have released the vehicle’s brake pedal, causing it to move backwards by itself.

In fact, you can see that the Proton X70 initially had its brake lights turning on but as the SUV went backwards and hit the other vehicle, the brake lights were off.

After hitting the front end of the other vehicle, the Proton X70 driver then went out to check if there were any damages to her SUV’s rear end as a result of the accident.

The SUV driver then went back inside her Proton X70 to get her smartphone and take photos of her Proton X70’s rear end, as well as the other vehicle’s front end and plate number.

She then went to speak and reprimand the other driver before going back inside her SUV and leaving the scene as the traffic light went green.

It is unknown what happened next and whether any of the parties involved lodged a police report regarding the accident.
