Ok lah, we know you can find Starbucks outlets everywhere in the world, but this particular outlet in Bali is definitely one you should consider visiting if you ever plan to go there on vacation.
Just over the weekend (12th January), Starbucks opened its 10th Starbucks Reserve store in Indonesia, located in scenic Bali, called Starbucks Dewata Coffee Sanctuary. This also happens to be the largest Starbucks store in the whole of Southeast Asia!
The coffee store said in a statement to Business Wire,
“The Starbucks Dewata Coffee Sanctuary amplifies our passion for the coffee journey, our ongoing commitment to Indonesia’s rich coffee culture, and our tireless pursuit of fostering moments of connection between our partners and customers.”

“The Coffee Sanctuary marks the tenth Starbucks Reserve Bar store in Indonesia, one of 185 stores around the world, with the majority in Asia. This is Starbucks at its best, and we are proud to open the doors of this unique experience in one of Southeast Asia’s most dynamic markets.”
This outlet serves up more than 100 Dewata-exclusive beverages, food, and merchandise. What makes this outlet even more unique is the multitude of interactive experiences that tantalise the senses and teach its customers all about coffee farming.
Customers can walk through a 1,000 square-foot coffee tree farm after entering the outlet’s concierge, where they are greeted by a de-pulping station. They can also assist local coffee farmers in washing, drying, and raking green coffee beans too!
The outlet’s second floor has a seedling nursery and a greenhouse where customers can gain a better understanding of the delicate process behind coffee farming and even help plant seeds.
Featuring gorgeous displays of local Balinese art, Starbucks Dewata Coffee Sanctuary is definitely more than your average cafe experience. So, be sure to mark this place in your itinerary if you’re heading to Bali anytime soon!
