Malaysia is a truly beautiful country where almost all of us are at least bilingual, while quite a number of us are trilingual!

Since most of us can converse in multiple languages, sometimes, issues may arise, mainly due to the language barrier.

An angry student seem to be going through this problem. So much so that he/she decides to rant about it on Facebook, even going to the extent of condemning the University.

He/she warns that non-Chinese speakers should not even consider UTAR or TARC because its apparently ‘toxic’ environment.

Here’s the post:

This post was later shared in UTAR’s confession 2016/2017 Facebook page.

Fellow Malaysians who saw the post weren’t too happy and disagreed with the person’s remarks.

“You serious bruh, you ain’t know nothing about this university dude. Go sit in a corner and think about what you wrote. Please At least use a little bit of your brain before writing this shit. Why am I saying this, because I am the only freaking Indian in a freaking lecture class and yet everyone talks to me and I don’t feel lonely nor left out. It’s the year 2017, where people interact without looking at skin color or religion background you close-minded person. Come out from your cave and open your god damn given eyes 1F611?” one wrote.

“”Their language”? “Exclude you linguistically”? Sorry but I think they’re sidelining you not because of the language barrier but because of your attitude #sorrynotsorry” another netizen commented.

Looks like other people, especially students of different race, had no problem with the so-called language barrier this student mentioned. Well, just don’t be quick to bash others and jump to conclusions nor generalise people. Continue spreading love guys!
