Brace your wallets, Netflix has raised its subscription prices in Malaysia once again, with monthly fees going up by between RM1 and RM7.
According to its official website, users will now have to pay more across all subscription plans, with the Premium plan seeing the biggest increase of RM7 per month.

Netflix plan prices before the hike
The Mobile plan has gone up by RM1 and now costs RM19.90 per month, while the Basic plan has increased by RM4 and now costs RM33.90.
Meanwhile, the Standard plan has seen a RM6 increase, bringing it to RM55.90 per month. The Premium plan saw the biggest hike of RM7 and now costs RM69.90 per month.
Here’s a quick breakdown:
- Mobile – RM19.90 (previously RM18.90)
- Basic – RM33.90 (previously RM29.90)
- Standard – RM55.90 (previously RM49.90)
- Premium – RM69.90 (previously RM62.90)
Additional charges apply to members outside your household
Netflix has also revised its charges for additional members who don’t live in the same household as the account holder.
- Standard – One additional member can be added for RM14.90 per month (previously RM13)
- Premium – Up to two additional members can be added, with each slot costing RM14.90 per month (previously RM13)
According to Berita Harian, Netflix said the price hike was made to allow the company to continue improving its services while bringing more new TV series and movies to subscribers each week.
