Breakups are excruciating as you are parting ways with someone you once loved so so much. Some take it more easy than others but one Singaporean guy took the cake.
Raph Yee tried his best to move on from his ex-girlfriend by selling away some of her stuff.
He listed the chair as “My exGF’s chair thing” onto an online shopping platform, Carousell. Then, he added a description of the weird looking chair along with his sad love story.
His description wrote,
Preloved, just like me.
Able to recline up to 180 (degrees), just like how she pulled a 180 on me.
Material is soft and comfortable, but apparently not boyfriend material.
Color is brown, like how shitty I felt the past 7 months.

“Perfect for those mornings you want to sit at a table and do nothing but contemplate your existence and question your inability to keep a three year relationship afloat.”
After reading about Raph’s unfortunate love life, thousands of Carousellers flooded into the comments section to cheer him on. Some applauded him for his awesome description while a few others felt so sorry for him that they actually contemplated buying the chair.
“Description makes me feel so bad I almost want to buy it.”
Raph also wanted to sell a gift he received from his ex-girlfriend for Christmas. He titled it as ‘Sleeping Headphones Thing For All The Nights I Can’t Fking Sleep’.
His description wrote,
“Ex gave me this for Christmas. Useful for drowning out thoughts of death at 2am in the morning. Helps you sleep through the dreariness of life without her. Lmao.”
Tragic sia…
But after that, Raph surprisingly decided to list something else for sale. Himself!
He described himself as,
“Used but not abused.”
“Condition: 8”
“Size: 170cm”
“Good for long term family planning, insurance plan selection, cooking, cleaning, cuddling, buying you breakfast, deep existential discussions about the fleeting nature of happiness and mornings pondering about the absurdity of life.”
“5% Boyfriend, 95% Husband material – RARE FIND.”
“100% Authentic, i dont cheat. ;)”
“Can try first to see if can fit.”
That’s a marketing win for this dude right here! Wonder how the gf felt after seeing him going viral for selling her stuff!
