Every now and then, I come across something that makes me ask “so why am I working again?” and a Singaporean lad by the name of Brandon Tan has done it for me this time. He made a grand (in Singaporean dollars, mind you) by helping fellow players level up.

He calls it the ‘Power Leveling Service’.

His charges people 25SGD (RM75.50) an hour or 200SGD (RM603.40) per 9-hour block (apparently Singapore has a thing for package deals as well).

However, here’s the more astonishing part. Instead of earning money one by one, this dude here plays up to 5 accounts SIMULTANEOUSLY!!

I’m not even joking, that’s bloody impressive, and before y’all trolls start accusing him of botting/spoofing/cheating or whatever new term there is, know that he plays it in public, in Hougang Ave 10, Block 401 to be exact. And yes, there’s a video!

Along with the video, Brandon writes,

“As requested by some people to see how I play Pokémon Go on multiple iPads to do my power leveling service while I play my own account. So far the maximum I’m able to handle is 5 accounts but 4 is just nice and rather comfortable for me to play for around 8-12hrs ?”

“I will be hunting for Pokemon at Hougang Ave 10, Block 401, near the playground with 4 Pokestops almost everyday from 6pm to 6am. Will be happy to talk to anyone who drops by to say hi ?”

Brandon has stated that he doesn’t do this for the money and that he actually loves Pokemon. His personal account is at level 35!! Like gaddam man! No wonder people seek the guidance of the Pokemon Sifu. Even I would consider that if I wasn’t a little bit very broke!

Here’s his Pokemon leveling service stats:

Level 1 – Level 10 = Within 2 Hours ($50/RM150) [45,000 XP]

Level 1 – Level 20 = Within 8 Hours ($200/RM600) + Free 1 Hour = 9 Hours [210,000 XP]

So with 5 devices, he’s actually able to earn up to a friggin’ RM3000 a day! That’s more than most fresh graduate’s monthly salary mannn!

It’s no doubt this dude has some serious creativity to earn money. Major respect.
