What? This bugger? This lazy road blocking-berry eating-all day sleeping bugger? Yes. That bugger. Apparently Nintendo has a little secret in the pokedex registry for Snorlax that no one saw.

What is it?

Well, let’s see if you notice it from these following pictures:

Did you spot it?

Yes, Snorlax is slowly waking up!

The Pokemon known for its sleeping and annoying road blocking ways is actually getting up.

The first picture above is from Pokemon Red & Green which was released in 1996. This was the first time we were introduced to the cult icon that is pocket monsters! As you can see, Snorlax is lying on his back, probably asleep.

After that are the versions Gold and Silver (1999), Ruby and Sapphire (2002), Diamond and Pearl (2006), and Black and White (2010), which shows the Pokemon eventually inching up.

This is a little too close to be a coincidence which begs the question, what is he getting up for?

Well in a preview video for Pokemon Sun and Moon (watch from 1:00 onwards), he get an almost atomic attack! Sorry not sorry Japan.

So apparently this huge adorable lump is FINALLY ready to get serious and deliver a destructive new attack!
