RM5K salary just to make roti canai!

While it may not appear to be the dream job for some, it does come with a generous salary and benefits package.

According to New Straits Times, the advertisement offers a salary of RM5,000 and above, along with additional benefits like access to a prayer room, accommodation, and meals.

“Salary starting from RM5,000, with additional perks including access to a prayer room, accommodation, and meals provided,” stated on advertisement listing published.

Is RM5K enough to survive in Singapore?

In Singapore, lots of job ads are luring skilled workers with good pay, even if they don’t have higher education certificates. It just goes to show how important hands-on experience is in the job market.

Some recruiters are going above and beyond by providing extra benefits such as hostel accommodation and free meals to attract potential candidates.

“A local restaurant association warns that it might not be enough to cover living expenses abroad despite how tempting the salary is.”
