Children these days have easier access to electronics than those before their time and this has caused some problems such as screen time addiction.

Recently, a pair of siblings in Florida had driven more than 300 km in protest after their mother had confiscated their electronic gadget.

According to ASTRO AWANI, the sheriff’s office in Alachua had identified a sedan on the 75 Interstate in the wee hours of the morning on 21 September.

Prior to that, a mother had reportedly lodged a report saying that her car was stolen by her children and the pair had been missing for 4 hours from their place of residence in North Port, Florida.

So when the police found the sedan moving, they thought that the car was being driven by a criminal who had taken the children, a boy of 10 years old and his sister of 11 years old. They forced the car to stop and took out a gun, asking for the driver to come out of the vehicle.

However, they were shocked to see that the driver of the car was the 10-year-old boy. When asked about why they took the car and drove, the pair of siblings said that their mother had confiscated their electronic gadgets after they misbehaved.

As they did not like that, they made the decision to run away from home and head to California. They had driven for a total of 320km before they were stopped by the police.

The police also brought them back to their mother.

Well, we bet that they’re in for an earful. It’s certainly scary how smart children are nowadays. What do you think about this? Let us know in the comments.
