One bad habit that has always taken Malaysia by storm is smoking cigarettes. Everywhere you go in Malaysia, despite the ‘No Smoking’ signages, there will always be people lighting a cigarette up.

Smoking is also ridiculously bad for health. So, how does one try to get their loved ones to quit smoking?

One woman decided to write little messages on her husband’s cigarettes in an effort to get him to quit. The Viral Muafakat Johor Facebook page recently took to their profile to showcase the woman’s messages.

They wrote, “A sign of a wife’s love for her husband. Any wives whose husbands are a smokers can try this out. Who knows, realisations might arise.”

Here are just some of the wife’s messages written on the husband’s cigarettes:

“If you love me, please stop smoking.”

“If you love our children, please stop smoking.”

“I only have 1 husband, not 3, not 4.”

“I don’t want to lose you.”

“Smoking kills! Do you understand??”

“I’m not asking you for money, I’m asking you to stop smoking.”

“Until when are you going to destroy your body?”

“Allah has given you a chance to live.”

“I don’t think you want me to be a widow.”

The wife clearly made an admirable effort to get her husband to quit smoking. Let’s just hope that he actually listens to her (especially considering in one of the pictures, the cigarettes with a message on it has been lit).

How did you manage to get a smoker to quit smoking? Do feel free to share in the comment section.
