In the 6th match, the Philippines team managed to equalise by winning 14-2, forcing the series into a 7th match.

SRG brings home RM4.6 million

With the victory, SRG takes home the coveted trophy and a cash prize of USD1 million or approximately RM4.6 million.

Following the historic victory, the team received many congratulatory remarks from Malaysians, most notably from Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
