SRG started the Grand Final on the back foot, losing the 1st match with a score of 23 kills to 16.

However, they then made a comeback in the 2nd match to equalise the series at 1-1, despite their opponent leading with 14 kills to 11.

SRG then lost the 3rd match too in a 6-22 defeat, before making an incredible comeback to win the whole series.

In the 4th match, SRG won with a score of 8-4, while in the 5th match, the Malaysian team won with a 12-11 score.

In the 6th match, the Philippines team managed to equalise by winning 14-2, forcing the series into a 7th match.

SRG then went on to comfortably win the deciding match, defeating Falcons AP Bren Sport 21-10 and securing their name in history as the 1st Malaysian team to be MLBB champions!

SRG brings home RM4.6 million

With the victory, SRG takes home the coveted trophy and a cash prize of USD1 million or approximately RM4.6 million.

Following the historic victory, the team received many congratulatory remarks from Malaysians, most notably from Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

Awesome! Congrats SRG for your incredible success and let’s hope that this will further spur our country’s MLBB and e-sports scene to success.
