The event is scheduled to be held at the vicinity of St Mary’s Cathedral, Kuala Lumpur beginning at 8pm and should be arriving at Dataran Merdeka.
#SalamSriLanka rally is organised by Gabungan Bertindak Malaysia (GBM) and the Committee to Promote Inter-Religious Understanding and Harmony (JKMPKA), chose the church to show that it was a safe place to visit.
The #SalamSriLanka rally is held to show solidarity following a series of bomb attacks at several hotels and churches in Sri Lanka on the 21st of April 2019, which took 253 lives.
