The joy animals bring to our lives can never be undisputed, and there’s a big reason why dogs are referred to as “Man’s Best Friend”.
A recent TikTok has been making waves online after TikTok user @brandyyap322 posted a video of her dog, Pin Pin. In the clip, Pin Pin can be seen gleefully approaching a delivery rider, who passes a parcel to Pin Pin through the residence gate.
After putting the package through, Pin Pin picks it up with her teeth and trots back to the house, tail wagging and all. The TikTok video ends with Pin Pin placing it in the house for her owner to pick it up.
Melting hearts across the country, many Malaysians commented on how precious Pin Pin was to receive the parcel.
One user even asked how Pin Pin reacts when a parcel isn’t delivered, to which Brandy Yap replied saying that she has photos of the dog sulking.
Another user even stated that the video made him want to become a delivery rider, just by seeing how excited Pin Pin was in the video.
Speaking to World of Buzz, Yap stated that she hadn’t trained Pin Pin in the past to collect parcels from riders, and that she organically wanted to do so on her own initiative.
“She would always see me take the parcel. One day, she wanted to take it herself, so I let her do it. She immediately took it and placed it on our sofa,” said Yap to World of Buzz.
From that moment on, Pin Pin accepted packages from deliverymen.
Talking about her special connection to Pin Pin, Yap stated that a lot of people tell her that the dog is her good karma, as she had rescued Pin Pin from an abusive situation before this.
“She is a very smart dog. She loves me very much. Whenever she sees me down or upset, she will always come and show me love,” said Yap.
