PJ Live Arts Sadly Closes Its Doors For The Time Being In A Decision Nine Months In The Making
The PJ Live Arts Centre has always been a home for the artistic community to express themselves through the various art forms.
But sadly, just like the many other businesses suffering throughout the pandemic, the PJ Live Arts Centre will be closing its doors for the time being.
In a statement released on their official Facebook page, they shared the difficult decision was months in the making.
They wrote, “The fact to the matter is – yes, PJ Live Arts has to close for the time being in view of the current situation, and our hearts go out all the theatre groups, freelance performers, directors, and artmakers affected by this impossible-to-predict future. It has been a difficult decision to make, and it took us nine months since March to decide on that. The truth is, it is not an easy road to take.”
The performance art theatre hopes that they can reopen their doors once things start looking brighter.
“We’re deeply grateful to you for supporting us and being patient during this time of uncertainty. We hope that our theatre will be able to continue as soon as the condition from an economic, as well as health and safety point of view allows it to happen,” they added.
Thankfully, they are still available as a rental space for productions.
If you’d like to support them by having your CMCO-permitted event there, you can contact PJ Live Arts at [email protected]
