According to Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri, Malaysia’s Minister of Defense, the heighten Covid-19 cases for the past few days is due to the enforced mandatory screening of all foreign workers in the country.
“What I want to stress here is that ‘as long as’ it does not spread in the community, we would be able to control it as the number involved only foreign workers,” he added.
Even though inter-state travels are now allowed, we should not be too complacent about the Covid-19 pandemic. Remember to always comply with the government’s SOPs and avoid any crowded places if possible.
Stay safe and stay tuned for more updates.
