A woman named “Bella” recently invited a 21-year-old man to her house, claiming that she needed company to sleep. The man, however, was beaten by 7 other men after reaching Bella’s house in Johor.

PDRM had arrested Bella and her gang, who are all aged 19 to 26, after the video of the man getting physically abused circulated online. In the latest update by the Seri Alam Chief Police, Assistant Commissioner Mohd Sohaimi Ishak revealed that the 21-year-old man was NOT the only victim.

Bella was merely bait to lure men she met online so that the attackers could rob the unsuspecting victims.

As of now, the police believe that the motive behind the attack was to rob the 21-year-old victim, who was beaten not only on the face but also on his private parts. After getting physically assaulted, the victim was forced to hand over the RM600 cash that he had on him. The men also took his motorcycle.

5 of the arrested suspects have prior criminal records involving drugs, and during the investigation, 4 of them tested positive for methamphetamine.

The suspects will be remanded until April 26 to assist in investigations under Sections 342, 385, and 324 of the Penal Code.
