A 15-year-old girl was found safe at an apartment in Shah Alam after her dad went searching for her when she hadn’t come home since November 16.
Klang District police chief ACP Cha Hoong Fong shared in a statement that the dad reported how his daughter had left home, and when he tried calling her, he got an audio message from her phone that didn’t say where she was.
Suspect threatened to sell his daughter
The 47-year-old dad got worried about his daughter’s safety, so he decided to file a police report. He mentioned that he had gotten a voice message from a man (the suspect) telling him to pick up his daughter in the Subang area.
He went on to say that after getting the location, he went there but couldn’t find his daughter.
Later, he received a WhatsApp message from the suspect saying the victim would be dropped off in Kuala Lumpur. But when he threatened to report it to the police, the suspect threatened to sell his daughter and demanded money to return her.
