Reliable sources said that the name of a local gang organization appeared in the police investigation files –  Ngo Seik Kee, or the “5 Colour” gang.

The gang is understood to be involved in drugs and repossessing cars. It was reported that the victim in Wednesday’s shooting had been questioned by the police last May.

When asked further by China Press, The Johor Bahru South District Police Chief said the police are still investigating the matter and could not disclose more information.
