Malaysia’s women’s 3m springboard representative Nur Dhabitah Sabri ranked 4th in the Olympics final, just one step away from the bronze medal.
With her consistent diving performance, Dhabitah secured a final score of 326.15. Chinese champion Shi Tingmao finished with 383.50 points, followed by Wang Han from China (348.75) and USA’s Krysta Palmer (343.75).
22 years old Dhabitah took part in 3m synchronised springboard in the 2016 Rio Olympics along with Cheong Jun Hoong. This year’s Tokyo 2020 is her second Olympics game and she has definitely made us proud with her amazing performance and high rank.
During the women’s 3m springboards final, Dhabitah warms the hearts of the audience and narrators with her beautiful smile. One of the narrators pointed out how relaxed she was and she truly enjoyed the game despite the anxious atmosphere at the Tokyo Aquatics Centre.
Although missing out on a medal, Malaysians are all extremely happy with Dhabitah’s wonderful performance. Let’s continue to support our national athletes in the upcoming Olympics games!
