6. Bangkok, Thailand

No trip to Bangkok is complete without visiting the aesthetic Grand Palace, which was once the king’s home. The 214,000-square-meter palace houses popular attractions like the Temple of the Emerald Buddha (Wat Phra Kaeo) and Rama I’s Audience Chamber (Dusit Maha Prasat)!

7. Krabi, Thailand

While visiting Krabi, you won’t wanna miss Phra Nang Beach, one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. On the edge of the beach is the famous Phra Nang Cave, otherwise known as the Princess Cave, which is where the locals pray for fertility!

For those who want to escape from the hustle and bustle of city life, Railay Beach is where you indulge in hobbies like snorkelling and rock climbing, or sit back and appreciate the stunning white sand and fascinating limestone cliffs.

8. Singapore

A trip to Gardens by the Bay is a MUST. The enclosed lush gardens are filled with all kinds of vibrant flowers and plants. Some of the top attractions include the indoor waterfall at Cloud Forest and the flower showcases in Flower Dome!

1. Langkawi, Kedah

Enough of Langkawi Cable Cars! See rare crocodile breeds and interact with them through fun activities and exciting shows at Crocodile Adventureland!

2. Miri, Sarawak

Enjoy hiking? Then Canada Hill in Miri is a must-visit! Other than seeing the city’s best views, you will also encounter popular landmarks at the summit, such as The Grand Old Lady (Malaysia’s first oil well) and the Petroleum Museum.

Lambir Hills National Park is also worth a visit! The 6,952-hectare rainforest is home to 257 species of birds, deer, flying squirrels, and more. Its trekking trails will lead you to fascinating waterfalls and bathing pools too!

3. Sandakan, Sabah

Sandakan flaunts its diverse biodiversity, and Sandakan Rainforest Discovery Centre is just one of the many attractions that cater to fellow nature lovers! The centre has over 250 species of birds and if you’re lucky, you can see orangutans swing by too!

Additionally, don’t miss your chance to see turtles at the Selingan Turtle Island! It is a conservation area that allows tourists to witness egg-laying turtles (July – October) and turtle hatchery (March – July).
