The social media manager of MYDIN Malaysia’s social media account is well known for bringing a smile onto the faces of Malaysians with their witty and hilarious posts.
A recurring star in such posts is MYDIN boss Datuk Wira Haji Dr. Ameer Ali Mydin who often gets involved with the shenanigans.
Recently, Datuk Ameer appeared to take part in a couple of TikTok dance trends which have all gone viral.
In a recent video, he was shown bringing around a trolley in one of MYDIN’s stores where he bumped into what people assumed is the social media manager of their accounts.
He went on to put an arm around his staff as they danced with the trolley to a rendition of Harry Style’s hit song ‘As It Was’.
Meanwhile, for MYDIN’s happy new year post, Datuk Ameer grooved to another trending TikTok song along with 2 of his staff members.
Malaysians loved it!
The videos have proven to be a huge hit as the one with the trolley has garnered over 490,400 views whilst the new year’s one amassed 1.6 million views.
Netizens loved the fact that Datuk Ameer had willingly taken part in such dance videos and praised his good spirits.

Meanwhile, a couple of users pointed out how suspiciously smooth the trolley appeared to be moving. For those of you who go grocery shopping often, one of the worst things is when you get a trolley that just doesn’t seem to be cooperating with you.
“Please service the trolleys, sometimes I end up doing the splits just pushing the trolley.”
“Did that trolley just got aligned? Seems like it’s soft to handle,” commented another user.
