Malaysians praise Mydin for the low price
In the comments, many Malaysians were shocked by the super-low price and praised Mydin for consistently doing these sorts of promotions.
Several commenters noted that the burger is similar to the overpriced ones being sold inside stadiums in Malaysia but at a fraction of the price.
The official Mydin Malaysia TikTok account also made an appearance in the comments section, jokingly praising its own stores for the low prices.
Meanwhile, 1 commenter asked why the price was set at RM0.67 when it would be rounded up to RM0.70 at the cashier.
Several commenters provided their own theories on this, with 1 claiming that it was meant to make it look even cheaper, while another said that the promotion was for the upcoming 67th Merdeka Day celebrations, hence RM0.67.
