Several super cute videos caught the attention of netizens worldwide, including Malaysians, during the recent Chinese New Year celebration, showing an adorable little dog joining a lion dance troupe in its very own lion dance costume.
In a series of videos shared by @wcbullydivision_oc on their TikTok account, the dog, a Micro Bully (mix of American Bully and Patterdale Terrier) can be seen happily donning the lion costume and joining in with the Chinese New Year celebration at an undisclosed location overseas.
What’s for sure is that the location isn’t in Malaysia, though that didn’t stop Malaysians from joining in the comments section to express how utterly adorable the dog is!
Dancing along with the lion dance troupe
In one video, you can see an adorable closeup of the doggo in a full lion dance costume. OMG So cute!
Meanwhile, in two other videos, the Micro Bully pup can be seen being unleashed by its owner to join in with the lion dance troupe while they were performing.
It then gave chase to the lion dancers and even tried to bark at one of them before getting scared and retreating to the drummers.
The doggo then followed behind one of the lions and danced adorably danced along while wagging its tail.

As of the time of writing, the above videos have gone viral on TikTok, the first one garnering over 7 million views while the second one has upwards of 8.6 million views!
Malaysians can’t get enough of the cute doggo
In the comments, netizens from all over the world expressed how they were suffering from cuteness overload after watching the video and wished they were at the location to watch the pup’s “lion dance” live!
Malaysians also made their presence known in the comments, with many couldn’t get enough of the adorable videos. One Malaysian said that the doggo wearing a lion dance was so cute that he wanted to make a keychain that looked exactly like it.
Besides that, one Malaysian joked that this is what happens when you have to go to work and your mother asks you to bring your little sibling along.
Besides that, a couple of Malaysian commenters joked that the doggo’s off-rhythm lion dance is what happens when you skip rehearsals.
Indonesians also made their presence known in the comments section, with most of them joking that the doggo looks like a lion dance in the form of a sachet.
