Radio Televisyen Malaysia (RTM) just announced that starting February 14, 2023, they’ll be airing the live broadcast of all parliamentary sessions on the “Berita RTM” channel.

The live broadcast will start at 10am and end at whatever time it parliament finishes. Viewers will also be able to watch the sessions on RTMKlik.

However, what caught the attention of Malaysians was NOT how easy it’ll be now to tune in to the sessions, but how RTM made the announcement.

In true Gen Z fashion, RTM, which is the first and OLDEST broadcaster in the country, has created a short video meme featuring a trendy TikTok sound and “Bondee” characters to deliver the good news.

Malaysians love the video so much that it’s been watched over 250,000 times on TikTok and is being widely circulated on Twitter.
