In the message, the woman asked whether there’s a diagnosis for an overly clingy partner. She further asserted,

“I’ve been married for 8 years and I think my husband has a mental disorder,”

She further revealed that her husband is “overly clingy” and “always scared” of losing her. Moreover, the husband also apparently tells her about his fear of losing her every day to the point that the woman is “tired of hearing it”.

Saying that she’s scared of her husband’s demeanour, the woman added that he cries a lot too.

In the X post’s replies, netizens are divided in their responses, with some criticising the woman for complaining about her husband still having strong feelings for her even after almost a decade together, while others advised the couple to seek professional help with the issue.

One commenter laughed at the woman’s predicament, questioning why she was complaining about something like this. Another shared the same sentiment, claiming that she’ll complain even if her husband no longer treats her well or goes out with his friends at night.

Meanwhile, another netizen advised the woman to bring her husband to a psychiatrist or to go for counselling. The comment further advised her to not easily judge and claim mental disorder but instead to see a professional for help.
