Washing your car yourself is surely worth it, as you not only save the money you’d pay to the car wash, but it’s also a good exercise and allows you to be thorough with the clean up.
However, it’s important to use the proper tools when doing so, or else it could be car-tastrophic; something this Malaysian woman found out the hard way!
Malaysian man finds his Perodua Ativa full of scratches after his wife washed it
Going viral online, a Malaysian man was taken aback when he noticed that his blue Perodua Ativa had multiple scratches throughout the vehicle after his wife had washed the car.
Shared by the man, Muhammad Hasif on TikTok, the video has garnered over 1.4 million views and more than 351,000 likes as of the time of writing.
In the video, Hasif showed off the exterior of the Ativa after his wife had washed the car and was shocked to find multiple scratches throughout.
These include scratches on the driver-side door, bonnet and almost the entire left side of the front bumper.
In the caption, Hasif wrote,

Hasif’s wife used a dish scrub sponge to wash the car
In a brief conversation with WORLD OF BUZZ, Hasif revealed that his wife used a dish scrub sponge to wash the Ativa, which unfortunately resulted in the scratches as seen in the video.
He added that the scratches weren’t visible when the car was still wet, with the ‘surprise’ only appearing after the Ativa’s exterior had completely dried.
Despite the rather expensive blunder, Hasif said that he’s not angry at his wife, though he does use the blunder as an opportunity to playfully poke fun at her.
