While the traditional mindset paints each parent of a household to play their distinct roles, modern times have seen both men and women take on dynamic parts to ensure the complete growth of their child. However, one husband may be taking this term quite literally, in a pretty comedic way.
A recent TikTok video uploaded by user @ihahhh_, a Malaysian wife who lives in Melaka, has been making waves online after her husband decided to pull a funny prank on their young son. In the clip, her husband, who borrowed his wife’s hijab, proceeded to wear it while their son sat in his lap.
Staring blankly at his father, the child’s mind was somewhere between confused and intrigued, unable to look away from his dad’s hilarious and calm disposition.
“Maybe my son thought his mother had changed. But he was sitting quietly thinking his father had altered his style,” wrote the user in the caption of her post.
To tease his child, the husband even pretended to adjust his hijab.
Garnering a wide response, many people stated that they actually didn’t realise it was the user’s husband at first due to his face.
“At first when I saw his face, I thought he really was the kid’s mother. Only after reading the caption did I take a closer look and realise it was a man!” joked another user.
However, a plethora of users also couldn’t help but jest at the couple’s expense, with some saying that the father had a “sweet” face.
“Their child is busy collecting all the cells in his brain to remember his mother’s face. It’s a long stare… it is like her… but it also isn’t…” jokingly added another user.
