Alot of the pet parents among us remember the excitement of bringing home a new puppy or kitten, kan? The playful antics, the unconditional love and of course, the promise of a lifetime of companionship. So as pet owners, we want to give our furry friends the best ‘Start of Life’, which includes ensuring they receive health benefits through nutrition and healthcare from the very beginning of their life stage. And that’s where Royal Canin comes in! ?

Through their Vaccination Programme, Royal Canin and Zoetis Malaysia team up on a shared mission to highlight the vital importance of early-age pet care through vaccination awareness.

As part of Royal Canin’s collaboration with Zoetis Malaysia, their joint efforts culminated in an engaging launch event at KidZania Kuala Lumpur, which was the launch base for their all-new Vaccination Programme. To go along with this initiative, Royal Canin also introduced its all-new range of BabyMilk products for Puppies and Kittens.

These launches are part of Royal Canin’s ongoing ‘Start of Life’ initiative, which aims to educate pet parents about the importance of vaccinations and provide precise immune-strengthening nutritional solutions for puppies and kittens in the early stages of their growth.

With the cooperation of Zoetis Malaysia, the leading animal health company in the country, the Vaccination Programme will be running for just over three months (24 May to 31 August 2024). Royal Canin will be giving a Healthcare voucher for vet consultation or vaccination when pet owners purchase selected ‘Start of Life’ products.

“The launch of our Vaccination Programme is a testament to our commitment to pet health and nutrition, and we are proud to bring this programme to pet owners across Malaysia. We believe that by educating pet owners about the importance of vaccinations, and by providing them with the necessary platform to explore this necessity, we can help ensure that more puppies and kittens across Malaysia receive the ‘Start of Life’ they deserve,” said Ms Teh Meng Li, Market Head of Royal Canin Malaysia.

The launch of Royal Canin’s BabyMilk range also marked a turning point for the brand during the event, a product line specifically designed to produce the most holistic nutritional package for both puppies and kittens. The BabyDog Milk and the BabyCat Milk are newly-launched products formulated to be as close as possible to a cat and dog’s natural milk, with ultra-digestible and highly nutritious proteins contributing to the digestive health and steady growth of puppies and kittens; making them the ideal choice for pet owners to provide their young companions with the best ‘Start of Life’.

In the same way that we invest in our health and well-being based on our various phases of growth, our furry companions deserve the same care and attention. Using the best nutrition and care from Royal Canin, pet parents can help nurture their bodies and spirits, ensuring that our furry friends grow into happy, healthy adults, ready to embark on a lifetime of adventures. But it doesn’t stop with the BabyMilk range; Royal Canin offers a variety of different kitten and puppy product options on the “Start of Life” range for your puppies and kittens even after the first two months of BabyMilk usage, providing comprehensive care throughout their life stages.

To further stimulate the initiative’s core messaging, the launch event showcased an engaging Studio Sembang podcast session hosted by Amelia Henderson, alongside special guest appearances from Malaysian actress and devoted cat lover, Zara Zya and renowned celebrity vet, Dr Salehatul Khuzaimah (better known as Dr Ima). The podcast delved into three distinct segments throughout the morning with the central theme of “Vaccination & Tailored Nutrition for Pets.” These segments featured in-depth discussions on First-Year Pet Visitations, Tailored Nutrition Plans for Pets at Different Growth Stages, and Home Training for Kittens. The podcast will debut on Friday, 7 June, and will be available for viewing at ATHQ Media’s YouTube page.

To top it all off, Royal Canin is offering pet owners a Healthcare voucher, redeemable at participating veterinary clinics nationwide in support of your pet’s health, particularly during the critical first ‘Start of Life’ year for puppies and kittens until adulthood. Don’t miss out and sign up for the Royal Canin Club on their website! Once you purchase selected puppy and kitten products from the ‘Start of Life’ range, the voucher will be automatically credited to your account.
