The 4th Para Asian Games will be held at the Hangzhou Sports Park Stadium in China on October 22 (Sunday) to October 28 (Saturday), and it is safe to say that our para-athletes are ready!
So much so that when they were leaving for the games earlier today at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA), they decided to treat their fellow Malaysians who were sending them off to a special treat.
Youth and Sports Minister, Hannah Yeoh, took to her Facebook page to share a sweet video of the para-athletes spontaneously singing a patriotic song to show their fighting spirit.
She wrote, “This scene at KLIA moved my heart. Para-athlete (national blind football team) broke into a spontaneous patriotic song as they led each other while departing from KLIA to the Hangzhou Para Asian Games.”
In the video, the huge group of para-athletes could be seen making their way into the airport to catch their flight, all while singing Perajurit Tanah Air (also known as Inilah Barisan Kita) by Saiful Bahari, at the top of their lungs.
This song is known as a praise to the readiness of Malaysian soldiers to fight and die for our country.
You can check out the touching video here.
