Trying your luck online to seek a partner is nothing to be ashamed of. Sometimes, online platforms make it easier for you to list down the traits that you’re looking for in a partner, and it’s important because you’re looking for the right one to spend the rest of your life with.
While everyone deserves the right to find someone they truly desire, how do you decide when a man or a woman is asking for too much? In one of the recent Facebook posts of 寻友馆Meet & Match – 全马脱单平台, an anonymous 35-year-old man did not mince his words in his personal ad.
“Give me 3 kids and you stay home to look after them”
The man claimed himself to be a traditional man and it’s important for him to keep the family line going. He’s looking for a woman who doesn’t mind giving birth to 3 kids but at the same time, he may not play a big part in taking care of the children.
“If you can stay home and look after the kids, that’ll be great. I enjoy going out drinking with my friends, so I hope you won’t interfere in this.”
That’s not all.
The man also wants his future wife to maintain her figure and looks without depending on cosmetic products.
“Preferably someone who doesn’t put on thick make-up and can cook or do house chores.”
The man who earns between RM3,000 and RM5,000 a month also said that he wants a partner who respects his parents.
A wife, or a mother?
It’s true that everyone deserves the right to demand the right partner. Netizens, however, felt that the man was asking for another mother or a maid, and labeled his demands as a “mission impossible”.
“In that case, I wish you a good single life for eternity.”
“Stay single, all the best.”
“Mom, someone is looking for you!”
“This only exists in your dream.”
“The good ol’ ancient love story.”
“If you don’t feel awkward, I’m pretty sure your partner will feel so.”
“In other words, you’re just a mommy’s boy.”
“I have a better idea. Marry your mother.”
