Fashion shows and costume parties are a great opportunity for kids to express themselves in the most creative ways. But one little girl has probably taken the cake for one of the most innovative costumes seen to date.
Malaysian father and content creator Gua Afiq recently shared a moment he recorded from a talent show organised by his daughter’s kindergarten to his TikTok page @guafiq. Holding a specific portion of the event as a fashion show where the kids were encouraged to dress up as princesses, Afiq decided to go the innovative route with his daughter’s outfit.
Strutting on stage with her best walk, the young girl donned a costume inspired by Her Majesty Seri Paduka Baginda The Raja Permaisuri Agong Tunku Hajah Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah. Clad in a blue shirt and grey jeans, the child’s outfit also came with yellow rubber-inspired boots and eye glasses.
Displaying a photo shortly thereafter of The Raja Permaisuri Agong, Afiq showed what the inspiration for his daughter’s costume looked like, and it was pretty spot on. Choosing to go with a casual outfit worn by The Raja Permaisuri Agong, the little girl also carried a custom yellow bag.
Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, Afiq stated that he was inspired by the period of time when The Raja Permaisuri Agong visited flood victims back in 2021.
Receiving immense praise for his creativity, Malaysians expressed how surprised they were to see Afiq come up with a unique spin, as most recall The Raja Permaisuri Agong in her signature yellow baju kurung.
Nevertheless, the vast majority of commenters couldn’t get over how cute his daughter looked for the show.
