This Malaysian woman, Aiffa Syakirin Abd Majid, may have been teased and ridiculed for having a larger body but she got her own happy ending when she met her true love while being a Grab driver. According to Siakap Keli, Aiffa shared her sweet story of how she coincidentally met her now-husband, Badr Kebdani who actually hails all the way from Morocco. Wow, that’s far!
She said, “I’m actually working as a nanny and a part-time Grab driver. Last year, my husband visited Singapore and he entered Malaysia via Johor Bahru. I was living there at that time and when he booked a Grab to Senai airport, I was his Grab driver. I’m naturally a friendly and outgoing person so I struck up a conversation with him and we chatted happily all the way to the airport.”

“We actually exchanged numbers after that and started texting even more. At that time, he had already gone back to Morocco so we only kept in contact through WhatsApp, Skype and Facebook for a year. Since he is a farmer there, he only goes on holiday when it’s the winter season.”
Their love blossomed after all that online chatting and they started a long-distance relationship for about a year. This year, her husband decided to travel to Malaysia again but this time, he came over just for Aiffa. He told her that he was in love with her and had come to propose. Aww, so sweet!

The happy couple just got married recently and Aiffa posted her wedding photo on her Instagram, which has garnered a lot of attention and blessings from netizens.
Aiffa said, “My husband loves me for who I am, not how I look like. He has never made me felt self-conscious about my weight and says that he loves my cheerful, honest and loving personality. He really touched me by purposely coming all the way here to propose to me and meet my family, which is why I accepted him.”

On her wedding day, she said that she didn’t mind even though there were many others who were doubting their love or laughing at her. Kebdani told her, “It’s okay, they are laughing at you because they only see you using their eyes but when I look at you, I use my heart.” And it all started from a Grab ride!
