A video making waves online shows a car involved in an accident that ended up crashing into a big drain near the Damansara toll.

TikTok user @ddarnahadrieanna posted the clip, capturing the moment when a bunch of passersby came together to help get the driver and passengers out of the car.

“My husband was the first to notice the accident”

Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, Darnah shared that she and her husband had just stopped at a petrol station to use the bathroom when, out of nowhere, a car crashed into the drain nearby.

She said her husband was the first to notice, but no one else seemed to realise it, especially since the car went in without making a sound.

“My husband noticed it, but no one else did. The car went in so quietly, without any noise,” she explained.

There were 3 people trapped inside

Darnah explained that she and her husband had already driven a bit further ahead but they decided to reverse their car and stop to help.

Initially, they were hesitant to approach the car, fearing the possibility of an explosion or some other danger. However, after weighing the risks, they chose to lend a hand.

“We were scared to get close to the car, afraid it might explode, but we decided to take the risk,” she said.

As her husband got closer to the car, he was shocked to discover that 3 individuals were still trapped inside the wreckage, one of whom was a child.

“No one was seriously hurt”

Darnah realised they needed more help, so she stopped a passerby nearby and asked for assistance, especially since the car was stuck sideways in the drain.

She shared how, not long after, other people passing by noticed them struggling to get the car door open and immediately stopped to help too.

“Thankfully, no one was seriously hurt, but the uncle driving the car had a sore leg, couldn’t walk, and looked really dizzy at the time,” she said.

In the caption of her post, she shared how proud she felt seeing everyone come together to help, she said,

“When Malay, Chinese, Indian and Sabahan come together to help. I’m proud to be Malaysian.”
