A local university professor is currently under fire for allegedly sending nude photos to a student, to which the student apparently printed out and pasted the photos across the university’s campus.

The student organisation at the university took to their Instagram page to urge the educational institute to demonstrate its commitment to combating sexual violence by taking action against the professor.

They wrote, “A shocking incident has emerged from (the university), where (the professor) is accused of sharing nude photos and sexually harassing others. These photos were reportedly printed and displayed around the campus to warn other students about the professor.”

“However, the photos were quickly removed. According to anonymous student sources, the professor has a history of sexual harassment allegations and has been reported by students before, but the university has yet to act.”

After the photos were posted around the campus, students allegedly received private emails from other professors, claiming that the displayed photos were an act of revenge against the professor in question.

“These (other) professors suggested they personally investigate the matter, seemingly attempting to misuse their power to protect the accused professor.”

A police report was lodged against the students

In another post, the group shared that the accused professor had lodged a police report against them.

“We have been informed that the accused professor has lodged a police report accusing (us) of ‘defamation’, and police officers have reached out to our president for further clarification. We remain undeterred and resolute, as we possess ample evidence to substantiate the claims of multiple students who have experienced varying degrees of sexual harassment by this professor,”

“We strongly condemn the professor’s attempt to use intimidation tactics against victims and students who tried to voice out. Here, (we) emphasize that we will not waver in our commitment to seeking justice and ensuring a safer campus for all students,” they explained.

WORLD OF BUZZ has reached out to the university for a statement but has yet to receive a response.
