@kak_paten took to TikTok to share a clip outlining her plan to gift her parents a brand-new car. Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, she revealed that her parents were currently relying on a second-hand Kancil, a vehicle that had seen better days.
“My parents have been using the car for quite some time. The car has been acting up a lot lately to which I’ve decided to get them a brand new one.”
Describing the challenges her parents faced with the ageing car, she mentioned instances where it had broken down multiple times, causing her to express genuine fear for her mother’s safety.
Driven by a deep concern for her parents’ well-being, she took an extraordinary step, applying for a loan to surprise them with a more reliable and safer car.
She also shared that her family didn’t have much financial comfort in the past. Despite these challenges, she made it her mission to improve their circumstances and provide more for her family.
“All the support I offer to my parents comes from my hard-earned money. Whenever I earn, my immediate priority is to provide for both of my parents.”
