Harassment in Malaysia is a common and ongoing issue, taking many forms such as verbal abuse, physical intimidation, online bullying, stalking, and even unwanted sexual advances.

But what would you do if you were being harassed by an unknown presence that you can’t see with the naked eye? In a recent video posted by @leo.the.lawyer, he documents an ongoing occurrence at his condominium home in Selangor.

“Can’t believe I’m getting harassed by a ghost”

In the video, Leo Ong captures instances of being harassed by an unknown presence, in other words, a ghost, where he frequently hears knocks on his door in the middle of the night.

Leo Ong, a conveyancing lawyer, revealed how he has been harassed for more than 2 weeks during the late hours at his condominium.

“Let me know if there’s any way to stop this”

Leo Ong continued to share that at exactly 2:55am, he wakes up to repetitive knocks on his door, yet upon checking, he finds no one there.

To make matters even more chilling, in front of his front door, there was a barricaded gate, suggesting that no one could have knocked on the door without passing through the gate first.

He mentioned that he would be trying some of the suggestions by netizens

In another video, Leo Ong responded to several suggestions from online netizens, many of whom recommended playing a mantra, reciting Surah Yassin, or using amulets. Some even suggested methods to help eliminate the ghost on his behalf.

He went on to explain that the knocking didn’t happen consistently every single night, but rather every 1 or 2 days. However, he realised that the timing was always consistent.

“It’s not consistent, it only happens every 1 or 2 days, but I noticed the timing was always consistent. The knocking would start at 2:55am. Now I’m wondering if that means anything,” he added.

The knocking on the door stopped but…

Leo Ong shared a third video where he was seen minding his own business, playing Surah Yassin in the background while having instant ramen (which was jokingly suggested by one of the people in the comment section).

He mentioned that the prayers seemed to stop the knocking on the door, but to his surprise, the knocking shifted and started occurring on his window instead.

While the occurrence is still ongoing, he revealed that he feels less scared and more annoyed by the situation, but he hopes it will be resolved soon.

“I’m also grateful to all Malaysians who have helped me and provided suggestions, regardless of race or religion,” he added.
