Weddings are usually a joyous occasion but marriage on the other hand would require a lot of compromising as couples are stepping into a new life together. That being said, many couples would choose to get to know each other’s families and try to fit in.
Unfortunately for this girl, it seems like her fiancé has strayed from his original aim of getting to know her family. In a recent post on Twitter, this man has shared his feelings towards his fiancée’s sister.
In his post he said,
“My girlfriend and I have been dating for 2 years and we’ve decided to get engaged. I went to her house earlier in hopes to get to know her parents and siblings. But something happened. When I saw her younger sister, I was stunned and didn’t know how to react. She is gorgeous, I would say she is even 3x times prettier than my fiancée.”
He then expressed that he really loves his fiancée but couldn’t get rid of the fact that her sister is that beautiful. He even said that he is now unsure of his own feelings as he couldn’t stop thinking about his fiancée’s sister.
He ended the post by saying,
“Ever since that day, I’ve been missing her sister and I don’t know what to do now. I feel like I am cheating on her but at the same time, I didn’t make any moves. It’s all in my head. What should I do?”
Many netizens were angry with the way he was feeling and here’s what some of them said:
“Guys like these aren’t suitable to be in a relationship. There are so many girls who are beautiful out there. Impossible for him to fall in love every time he sees someone prettier. I feel bad for his girlfriend.”
“When he meets someone prettier than the girlfriend’s sister, he’ll fall for that girl. It’s ridiculous to fall for someone just because they’re prettier than your current one, it’s just too much.”
“You should just break up with your girlfriend. You don’t have to plan and make a move towards her sister. You’re a terrible person for even thinking of ‘ruining’ your own sister-in-law. This type of behaviour is unacceptable.”
Nobody is perfect in this world and there will always be someone who is better than us out there, hence it is important for us to be contended with what we have instead of dwelling on what we don’t have.
