A Malaysian businessman who has been declared bankrupt recently admitted that he is living in a room with only RM250 rent a month, but at the cost of being WITHOUT a bathroom.
The businessman, fondly known as Datuk Red on TikTok, is now working hard to pay his RM7 million debt, and as of now, only RM30,000 has been repaid.

In @dolspodcast, Datuk Red revealed that he has been using the toilet facility at the R&R near his room in Sungai Buloh.
His room, however, came with a unit of air conditioner. Due to his financial situation, Datuk Red opted to make do with what he has, and the R&R near him is now not only the place for him to clean himself but also to make a living.
“That’s where I do my TikTok live to communicate with my audience and earn some money from my business.”

The man also said that many employees at R&R have recognised him, including the lorry drivers who frequent the place and the cleaners, as well as the security guards.
Datuk Red, who is divorced, said that whenever his kids visited him, he would bring them to use the toilet facilities at the R&R before going to his room. Fortunately, his kids understand his situation and have not complained about it.
He also said that he is used to sleeping in the car, which is now his temporary “moving home”.
Despite his financial constraints, Datuk Red is working hard to clear his massive debts.

In a report by Harian Metro, Datuk Red has been declared bankrupt since 2019. Last year, he asked those who claim to have been victims of his fraud in previous land sales transactions to be patient and calm, as he is still trying to find money for the repayment.
