At the beginning of this year, Lunadira became the first ever artist to appear on the YouTube channel named COLORS.
If you do not know, COLORS is a studio in Berlin where artists perform their music against a plain-coloured background. Superstars like Billie Eilish, Joji, Daniel Caesar and Doja Cat have all performed there.
And now, their latest video features none other than our homegrown songbird, Yuna who sang her latest single, Glory!
In the video with a sage green background, we see Yuna singing to a soulful beat in a raspy and airy voice. The performance was about 2 minutes and 46 seconds long but we were left wanting more after it ended as it was so good.
Many netizens from all around the world agreed and said that her voice is very captivating and smooth.
Speaking on the experience of performing at the COLORS x Studio, Yuna revealed in an Instagram post that this is actually her third attempt at performing there.
“I visited Colors x Studios on my European tour in 2016/2017 and when I got there, we realized I didnt have enough time to perform a song because I had a show in Berlin that evening. I was so bummed.”
She continued by saying that their second attempt at Vietnam was a failure as well because she was wrapped up in work.
As the third time’s the charm, Yuna made sure to plan a stop in Berlin on her vacation with her husband in Barcelona.
“On my trip, I thrifted this black leather jacket, boots, and this silver dress and cut this scarf from a large piece of black fabric.”
“I’m so happy it all worked out in the end. It was meant to be a moment for me, Glory, a thrifted outfit, my TC Helicon Voicelive and my husband.”
